Everything at Elmira Theatre Company is run and operated by volunteers, so we are always looking for new members! Whether you want to gain new experience in a field of interest, make new friends, or just want to help out there is something for everyone. You can sign on for a night or a year, no matter what, your help will be greatly appreciated.

| Tech Crew | Lighting or Sound Operator some technical experience helpful | 2-3 days / week, 1-2 months / show |
| Construction Crew | Set Building requires some construction experience | 1-2 days / week, 1-2 months / show |
| Backstage Crew | Assistant Stage Manager attend rehearsals, backstage at shows | 3 days / week, 2-3 months / show |
| Props | Find/create and maintain props for show, sometimes set props for performances | varied, 2-3 months / show |
| Costumes | Find/create and maintain props for show, launder costumes as needed | varied, 2-3 months / show |
| Actors | Auditions are held for each show, see Auditions page | 3 days / week, 3 months / show |
- All rehearsals and shows are scheduled outside normal business hours as most of our members have other paid professions.
- Each show is unique and Directors, Stage Managers and Producers can clarify exact volunteer position requirements for their particular show.
