Gerard Gouthro playing Ben

Gerard is thrilled to finally be back on the Elmira stage. Some time ago, he was part of shows including The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), Office Hours, and Rumoursamong others. More recently he has been on the other side of the stage writing and directing theatre for youth in the Centre Wellington area. He’s been on many stages around Southern Ontario, but Elmira feels like the most natural place to return to his love of acting.

Michael Grant playing Jim

Michael is an award-winning playwright, director and actor. He most recently appeared in The Birds & the Bees as well directed Forever Love, a play he also wrote. As a playwright, he has seven full length plays that have played throughout Canada. His play, Shorthanded, won the Best New Comedy in Canada in 2012. He was recently honoured to receive the Lifetime Membership Award from WODL. Michael would like to thank his family and ETC for their unwavering support.

Cathy Moore playing Marjorie

Cathy has been a member of Elmira Theatre Company “since the beginning” and supports ETC as the newsletter editor.  Selected acting credits with ETC: The Last Real Summer, Waiting For The Parade, The Long Weekend, Old Love. Her portrayal of Nanny in Hollywood Arms won her the WODL Festival Award Best Actress in 2011. Selected directing credits with ETC: Opening Night, Christmas Belles, Steel Magnolias, Wild Guys. Cathy was last seen on the ETC stage in Pearl Gidley. She is excited to be working with the talented cast and crew of this Canadian play, Willow Quartet.

Shari Roberts playing Kim

Shari is thrilled to be involved in her first production with ETC with this fabulous and welcoming cast and production team. Some previous theatre highlights include roles in Sense & Sensibility, The Importance of Being Earnest, Little House on the Prairie and Mom’s Gift (all with Elora Community Theatre); All Together Now with RCMPI, and varied works with Grinder Productions. Love and gratitude always to Dylan, Rhys and Gareth.
